Production & Engineering Manager (Medical Devices)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production & Engineering Head to join our dynamic team at Jenco Mulia Teknologi in Depok, West Java. As the Head of Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire Production & Engineering process, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of high-quality products. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in achieving the company's strategic objectives within manufacturing.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing production plans and targets
2. Optimising production processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
3. Monitoring and analysing production data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
4. Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including procurement, quality, PPIC, R&D to ensure seamless production operations
5. Supervising and managing the production team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
6. Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations and standards
7. Identifying and addressing production bottlenecks and implementing solutions to mitigate them
8. Collaborating with planning and scheduling teams to align production with overall business objectives

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production management role, preferably within the medical device manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of production flow, planning, scheduling, and control techniques
• Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field; preferred)
