Job summary

KLK INDONESIA is seeking a seasoned professional for a refinery/ palm oil operation in Belitung Timur, Bangka Belitung. You will monitor degumming, bleaching, and deodorization processes to optimize throughput and energy use, while ensuring product specifications are met.

Lead plant operators, coordinate training, and work with maintenance to uphold safety and certifications. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with at least five years of refinery or related

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in refinery/palm oil or related industry.
Willing to be located in Belitung Timur, Bangka Belitung.

Responsibilities

Monitor and refine operations such as degumming, bleaching, and deodorization to maximize throughput, minimize oil loss, and optimize energy/chemical consumption.
Troubleshoot process anomalies, collaborate with QA teams, and ensure end products meet exact customer and industry specifications.
Manage shift rosters, direct plant operators/technicians, and evaluate workforce skills gaps to coordinate training and build a culture of operational excellence.
Work with the maintenance team to execute preventive/corrective maintenance and safely manage equipment like compressors, boilers, and vacuum systems.
Enforce safety and health regulations, maintain environmental standards, and ensure the facility adheres to strict certifications like ISO, GMP, HACCP, and RSPO.
