SCG Indonesia is seeking a Production Engineer to join our manufacturing operations in Jakarta. You will monitor daily production, analyze data for productivity gains, and support plant teams in achieving high quality and safety standards.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma familiarity, and collaboration with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and drive operational excellence at SCG Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related engineering fields.
• 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related roles; strong internships also considered.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with production systems and improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production operations to ensure output meets quality and efficiency targets.
• Analyze process data and identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime and resolve production issues.
• Support trials of new materials, methods, or technologies to improve performance.
• Prepare regular reports on production results, losses, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards in all production activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
