Job summary

PetroSea is seeking a Mining Engineer/Supervisor to monitor and supervise mining production resources in Indonesia. The role requires a Diploma in Geology Engineering, at least one year of mining experience, and familiarity with drill/blast and dewatering activities.

English proficiency is an advantage. You will implement short-term mine plans, ensure safety procedures are followed, and coordinate with multiple teams to achieve production targets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control and supervise mining production resources to meet project targets.
• Identify hazards and implement safety procedures and regulatory requirements per Safety Management Plan.
• Prepare and use short-term mine execution plans to provide production parameters for BMP feedback.
• Supervise operators, technicians and unskilled personnel per shift in mining operations.
• Coordinate with other mining teams and participate in regular meetings.
• Maintain SHE programs and ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards.

Job description

• Monitor, control and supervise the mining production resources to achieve the production targets and objectives of the project in accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

Identifying hazards and risks during the operation phase of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and regulations and statutory regulations in accordance with the Safety Management Plan. All safety procedures and regulations are successfully implemented in accordance with the Safety Management Plan.

Implement short term detailed mine execution plans at the position level using the BMP process and to provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan. 0

Supervise the performance of operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the Mining operations in the shift by shift BMP process using short term variance. The performance of mining foremen, operators, technicians and unskilled personnel in the Mining operations are supervised accordingly.

Coordinate and liaise with other mining team regarding mining production and participate in regular meetings. Mining productions are well coordinated.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Diploma Degree of Geology Engineering

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

• Min. 1 (one) year experience in mining industry
• Experience with drill/blast and dewatering activities an advantage
• Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications
• Good knowledge of best practices in Project Management.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail
• Well developed computer skills, including their application to Mine Engineering and Reporting
• Fluent in English, bothand spoken and written is an advantage
