  • Monitor, control, and supervise the mining production resources to achieve the project’s production targets and objectives in accordance with the project parameters and guidelines.
Job Responsibilities

Key Metrics

Identify hazards and risks during the operation phase of work packages. Implement all safety procedures, rules, and regulations, including statutory requirements, in accordance with the Safety Management Plan. Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are successfully implemented.

Implement short-term detailed mine execution plans at the position level using the BMP process. Provide necessary production parameters to BMP on a continuous feedback basis to enable short-term control and achieve the long-term mine plan.

Supervise the performance of operators, technicians, and unskilled personnel during mining operations in shift-by-shift BMP process using short-term variance analysis. Ensure the performance of mining foremen, operators, technicians, and unskilled personnel is properly supervised.

Coordinate and liaise with other mining team members regarding mining production. Participate in regular meetings to ensure well-coordinated mining production.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibilities, including SHE Management System, to ensure the effectiveness of the programs. Confirm that SHE responsibilities meet intended outcomes such as:

  • Maintaining SHE risks
  • Achieving Target Zero LTI
  • Ensuring SHE Management System compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3, and SMKP standards and requirements.
Education

Diploma in Geology Engineering

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Minimum 1 (one) year experience in the mining industry
  • Experience with drill/blast and dewatering activities is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of mining equipment capabilities and applications
  • Good understanding of best practices in project management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills, including applications relevant to mine engineering and reporting
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, is an advantage
