Job summary

Shoetown Group 廣碩鞋業集團 in Majalengka, West Java, Indonesia, seeks an experienced Assembly Supervisor to lead footwear assembly operations on the shop floor and ensure production targets are met.

You will supervise team leaders and operators, monitor daily output and line efficiency, coordinate with Planning, IE, QA/QC, Warehouse and Maintenance, and drive 5S and safety standards.

Assembly Supervisor – Footwear Manufacturing

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assembly Supervisor to join our footwear manufacturing team in Majalengka, West Java, Indonesia.

This role will be responsible for managing daily assembly line operations, leading production team leaders and operators, monitoring output and efficiency, and ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage daily assembly line operations and ensure production targets, quality requirements, and delivery schedules are met.
2. Lead and supervise team leaders, line leaders, and operators in the assembly process.
3. Monitor daily output, line efficiency, manpower allocation, WIP status, and production progress.
4. Identify and solve production issues, including material shortages, quality defects, bottlenecks, machine issues, and manpower gaps.
5. Work closely with Planning, IE, QA/QC, Warehouse, Maintenance, and related departments to ensure smooth production flow.
6. Support line balancing, productivity improvement, defect reduction, and continuous improvement activities.
7. Ensure workplace discipline, safety, 5S, and company production standards are properly implemented.

Required Qualifications

1. Experience in footwear manufacturing, especially in assembly production.
2. Experience as an Assembly Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Line Supervisor, Team Leader, Value Stream Supervisor, or similar production leadership role.
3. Familiar with footwear assembly processes, production line operations, manpower arrangement, WIP control, and daily output follow-up.
4. Able to lead production teams and solve daily production issues on the shop floor.
5. Strong coordination skills with Production, Planning, IE, QA/QC, Warehouse, Maintenance, and related departments.
6. Fluent communication in Bahasa.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

1. Experience working with international footwear brands such as Nike, Adidas, New Balance, Puma, ASICS, Converse, Crocs, Skechers, or similar brands is preferred.
2. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, line balancing, productivity improvement, or continuous improvement projects is a plus.
3. Basic understanding of footwear quality control, defect handling, rework control, and inline quality improvement is preferred.
4. Basic communication in English is a plus.
5. Experience working in a multinational manufacturing environment is preferred.
