Product Manager PI & Urology
Job Summary
Support the franchise in developing and implementing marketing programs in-country in line with defined marketing plans and budgets. Conduct investigative research to assess brand image, market share, and growth opportunities. Implement product launches and support the sales team with training, tracking the effectiveness of marketing programs against set goals.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and Analysis
- Maintain product forecast, including inventory analysis.
- Develop operational product launch strategies and identify product roll-out plans.
- Develop competitive strategies and product analysis for the franchise/product.
- Provide market potential analysis for strategic planning and marketing plans.
- Understand how product profit/loss is affected by consignment plans, contracts, etc.
- Track financial performance, analyze issues, and develop action plans to meet revenue objectives.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to enhance profitability and competitiveness.
- Assist in developing the franchise budget, including travel, promotion, and advertising.
Market Development
- Develop and execute local market strategies; identify trends and new opportunities.
- Create and manage physician training programs.
- Implement strategic marketing plans aligned with franchise goals.
- Develop innovative approaches for marketing existing and new products.
- Assist in creating reimbursement strategies.
Product / Market Management
- Manage both consumable and capital equipment products.
- Develop and coordinate training for the sales force.
- Facilitate physician-to-physician training and develop sales tools.
- Support the sales team actively in the field.
- Participate in sales meetings and customer events.
- Develop and implement launch strategies, including launch packages.
Product Development
- Communicate market needs to regional marketing teams.
- Conduct product evaluations and provide feedback for new development.
Building and Maintaining Relationships
- Establish relationships with key thought leaders and physician champions.
- Develop support structures with sales teams.
- Maintain regional key opinion leader registers.
- Coordinate physician symposiums.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of two years' experience in sales and marketing within Medical Devices, Healthcare, or Pharmaceuticals.
- Experience supporting doctors and raising awareness of diseases and procedures.
- Medical Devices product management experience is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, results-driven mindset, and excellent communication skills.
- Proactive with interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English and proficient with computers.
