Product Manager PI & UrologyJob SummarySupport the franchise in developing and implementing marketing programs in-country in line with defined marketing plans and budgets. Conduct investigative research to assess brand image, market share, and growth opportunities. Implement product launches and support the sales team with training and tracking the effectiveness of marketing programs against set goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning and Analysis:
- Maintain product forecast, including inventory analysis.
- Develop operational product launch strategies and identify product roll-out plans.
- Develop competitive strategies and product analysis for the franchise.
- Assist in market potential analysis and develop strategic planning documents.
- Understand the impact of consignment plans, contracts, and other factors on product profit/loss.
- Track financial performance, analyze issues, and develop action plans to meet revenue objectives.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to enhance profitability and competitiveness.
- Assist in managing the franchise budget, including travel, promotion, and advertising.
Market Development:
- Develop and execute local market strategies.
- Identify clinical and market trends; suggest new product and marketing opportunities.
- Create and manage physician training programs.
- Implement strategic marketing plans aligned with franchise goals.
- Develop innovative approaches to market existing and new products.
- Assist in creating reimbursement strategies.
Product / Market Management:
- Manage both consumable and capital equipment products.
- Develop and coordinate training for the sales force.
- Facilitate physician-to-physician training and develop sales tools.
- Support the sales force actively in the field.
- Participate in sales meetings and customer events.
- Develop and execute product launch strategies and packages.
Product Development:
- Communicate market needs to regional marketing teams.
- Conduct product evaluations and provide feedback for new product development.
Building and Maintaining Relationships:
- Establish relationships with key thought leaders.
- Identify physician champions for the franchise.
- Develop support structures with sales representatives and management.
- Maintain regional key opinion leader registers.
- Coordinate physician symposiums.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- At least two years of sales and marketing experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare, or Pharmaceuticals.
- Experience supporting doctors and patient awareness initiatives for PI and Urology.
- Medical device product management experience is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, results-driven, and excellent communication skills.
- Proactive, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English and computer literacy.
