Job summary

Mekari is seeking a Product Manager to own earned wage access and related fintech features within Mekari Flex and Talenta. You will shape product strategy, drive end-to-end delivery, and align with payroll and finance.

Collaborate with partnerships, design scalable solutions, and write specs in English and Bahasa Indonesia. This hybrid role is based in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in product management, at least 1 on a product where money moves.
• Ability to build a unit-economics model for a feature and defend it in a room.
• Owned a partner integration through go-live, settlement, and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Own products across earned wage access, employee financing, and the flexible benefit/marketplace.
• Manage payroll boundary: syncs between Flex and Talenta on deductions, cutoffs, and reporting.
• Lead end-to-end vendor/partner integrations, including settlement and reconciliation.

About the role
Mekari Flex helps companies give employees financial benefits that actually fit their lives; early access to earned salary, flexible installments, and a curated benefit and voucher marketplace; all integrated directly with Mekari Talenta payroll.

We're looking for a Product Manager who is comfortable on both sides of a financial product: the business model, and the system that executes it. Here, a design decision has a margin consequence and a reconciliation consequence; and "it mostly works" isn't good enough when the thing being moved is someone's salary.

What you'll own

• Products across earned wage access, employee financing, and the flexible benefit and voucher marketplace
• The payroll boundary: how Flex and Talenta stay in sync on deductions, cutoffs, and reporting
• Vendor and partner integrations end to end; including the settlement and reconciliation nobody puts in a demo
• The economics of what you ship, alongside Finance and Partnership

You'll be a strong fit if you

• Have 2+ years in product management, at least 1 on a product where money moves
• Can build a unit-economics model for your own feature and defend it in a room
• Have owned a partner integration through go-live, settlement, and the escalations that follow
• Use AI as part of how you actually work: drafting specs, synthesizing research, prototyping ideas; with the judgment to know what still needs checking by hand
• Write clearly and professionally in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, and know when to switch register
• Think in edge cases, because in this product the edge cases are someone's rent money

You don't need

A computer science degree. The ability to code. A finance certification. Prior HR-tech experience; a fintech or payments background transfers well.
