As a Product Manager, FI — you’ll be at the forefront of transforming Indonesia’s payment landscape, leading bank integrations for seamless, reliable transactions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project milestones, ensure compliance, and shape a user-centered product experience. This role requires 7+ years in Product Management, ideally with open banking expertise, and hands-on leadership in fast-paced environments.

- Ensure product requirements meet expected outcomes through focused journey research, facilitating smooth product acceptance.
- Conduct thorough research to understand and enhance the end-to-end product journey, ensuring an optimal user experience at each touchpoint.
- Manage the Product Requirements Document (PRD) process meticulously, capturing all necessary details to guide development and execution effectively.
- Own and drive the product roadmap from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Leverage data-driven insights to identify opportunities for product improvement, optimize user experience, and drive engagement.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, and operations) to deliver high-impact product launches.
- Execute go-to-market strategies with a strong focus on user acquisition, retention, and market differentiation.
- Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for product vision and prioritize enhancements.

What will you do?
- Develop and Maintain Bank Integrations: Lead the effort to establish and maintain direct bank integrations with all banks in Indonesia, ensuring seamless connectivity and reliable payment processing.
- Project Milestones: Create and manage clear project milestones, outlining specific activities for each partner involved in the integration process.
- License Acquisition: Develop an executable strategic plan along with various stakeholders to acquire the necessary licenses related to payment operations, ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and monitor progress and report discrepancies.
- Progress Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive progress reports for the project, keeping stakeholders informed of key developments and milestones.
- User-Centric Approach: Continuously prioritize user needs, put yourself in customers\' shoes, and ensure all product decisions are driven by a user-first mindset.
- Product Requirements: Develop clear product requirements and effectively communicate them to engineering teams and all relevant stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the glue in a diverse cross-functional environment, facilitating decisions and building consensus among teams.
- Metrics-Driven Decisions: Utilize metrics and analytics to inform your perspective and measure the success of the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Product Management Experience: 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Product Management, with a focus on payments must have.
- Open Banking Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of experience in open banking product development.
- End-to-End Ownership: Proven experience owning end-to-end product development, from concept to launch and subsequent growth.
- Latest Technology: Knowledge of the latest technologies that have been used in the payment industry such as bank switch technology.
- Startup Environment: Comfortable working in an early-stage to growth-stage company, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, a willingness to take calculated risks, and a track record of success, ideally in a Pre-series A-B company.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle tough and complex discussions.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management, including the ability to create clear milestones for each project.

Indepay Networks is a global financial technology company working towards creating a global payment network for financially excluded clients. It is an alternate payment platform offering holistic solutions to sponsor banks, small merchants, and unbanked and under-banked citizens of various emerging markets. The new payment network will engage multiple banks as issuance members and the primary bank to perform as the settlement and merchant acquiring bank in the said country. This will enable a low-cost interchange model for the participating merchants accepting remittance (domestic & international) transactions, prepaid, content services, utility transactions and other banking services like withdrawal, deposit and collections. Indepay Networks is institutionalizing interoperability for under-served clientele through correspondent banking engagement format in India, and Indonesia, including regulatory and industry dialogue, and developing product and market strategy in line with the evolving economic landscape.
