Job description

1. Fluent in English for multinational projects.

2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Telecommunications, Optical Communication, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields.

3. 3+ years in the optical communication industry, with in-depth knowledge of DWDM systems, network architecture, and applications.

4. Prior experience in pre-sales technical support, solution design, or product management is preferred

5. Expertise in DWDM principles (e.g., wavelength planning, OTN, optical amplifiers, dispersion compensation).

6. Familiarity with mainstream DWDM equipment and solutions (e.g., Huawei, ZTE, Ciena, Nokia).

7. Understanding of industry standards (ITU-T, IEEE) and trends (400G/800G, coherent optics, open optical networks).

8. Having Knowledge of SDH/IPRAN/5G backhaul integration with DWDM.

9. Understanding of DWDM applications in telecom carriers, enterprises, and data centers (e.g., long-haul transport, DCI).

10. Competitive analysis to highlight product differentiators.

11. Excellent presentation skills to articulate technical value to both technical and non-technical audiences.

12. Experience in writing whitepapers, case studies, or conducting training sessions.

13. Certifications (e.g., Huawei HCIE-Transmission, Ciena Certification).

14. Hands-on experience with optical test equipment (OTDR, optical spectrum analyzers).

15. Track emerging technologies (e.g., FlexGrid, optical-layer ASON) to enhance solution competitiveness.

Responsibilities:

1. Able to design DWDM network solutions tailored to client needs, including transmission distance, capacity planning, and protection schemes (e.g., 1+1, ring protection).

2. Drafting technical proposals, delivering presentations, and providing cost analysis.

3. Work closely with sales, R&D, and engineering teams to drive project execution.

4. Rapidly address customer technical inquiries with tailored solutions.

5. Conduct customer needs analysis and deliver technical solutions.

6. Support sales in technical discussions, bidding, and contract negotiations.

7. Assist marketing in promotional activities (e.g., exhibitions, seminars).
