Job summary

Allianz Global Investors in Indonesia invites you to join as Product Manager within the Product team. You will report to Senior Product Manager and contribute to development and governance of fund and Sharia-compliant products.

Responsibilities span product development, lifecycle management, and strategy with cross-functional partners across investment, regulatory, and distribution teams. Strong English/Bahasa and analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; minimum 3 years' experience in product strategy, development, or management in fund/wealth management.
• OJK licenses and Islamic economics discipline certifications are a plus.
• In-depth understanding of fund products, regulatory requirements, Sharia regulations and competitive landscape in Indonesia and Asia Pacific
• Proficiency in investment research tools like Morningstar and local fund databases.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa.
• Strong communication, presentation and business case writing skills.
• Advanced analytical and software/database skills.
• AI skills: Microsoft CoPilot, ChatGPT

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop new investment strategies and products with cross-functional teams.

• Monitor products' competitiveness across assets, cash flows, pricing, profitability, and performance.
• Lead changes to existing products including repositioning, mergers, closures and approvals.
• Lead Sharia governance and related initiatives.
• Formulate and implement strategic initiatives aligned with objectives.
• Conduct competitive analysis to support planning.
• Partner with sales to define product distribution strategies.
• Support governance through product analysis and committee participation.

What You Do:

Product Development

• Assess and develop new investment strategies and products in collaboration with product, investment, and distribution teams.
• Lead the end-to-end product development process, including marketability assessments, product committees' approvals, regulatory approvals, and product launches.
• Develop and manage Sharia-compliant products per regulatory requirements and principles.

Lifecycle Product Management

• Monitor and analyze products competitiveness (assets, cash flows, pricing, profitability, performance etc.).
