AutoKon provides digital infrastructure for construction management in Indonesia, leveraging WhatsApp to streamline key processes and improve accountability for developers, contractors and relevant stakeholders in the industry.

We’re backed by Navv Studio and a board of key strategic advisors. We are currently powering pilots as part of Indonesia’s 3 Million Homes initiative. Our work is actively engaging key stakeholders across government and industry, and together with a founding team with deep experience in commercial, technology and design.

With early validation in the field and an ambitious roadmap ahead, we’re now seeking a proactive, ownership-driven Product Lead to join us — and help build fast, and build right.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the quarterly product roadmap, aligned with business goals and engineering capacity
  • Lead roadmap workshops, merging insights from GTM, field ops, and tech
  • Prioritize effectively using RICE/ICE frameworks
  • Write sharp, structured MRDs and PRDs with KPIs, out-of-scope items, risks, and success criteria

Discovery To Delivery

  • Conduct user interviews, field shadowing, WhatsApp chat analysis, and ops log reviews
  • Create and continuously update user personas, journey maps, and real-world use cases
  • Prototype new ideas using Figma or other modern prototyping tools
  • Identify and document negative flows, edge cases, and failure scenarios
  • Drive end-to-end sprint execution: plan sprints, manage backlog, define DoR/DoD, run UAT, and ensure release readiness

Stakeholder & Field Collaboration

  • Share weekly progress reports with KPIs, blockers, and next steps
  • Run monthly business reviews: outcomes vs OKRs, go/hold/kill decisions
  • Maintain a clear decision log and product risk register
  • Support client onboarding and training to ensure clear understanding and effective adoption of the product.
  • Visit sites regularly to observe, interview, and validate usability in context
  • Respond to feedback within 72 hours and keep the Voice of Customer loop alive

Metrics & Impact

  • Define and own module-level North Star metrics
  • Build funnels and activation cohorts to track engagement and user health
  • Reduce Time to First Value (TTFV) and drive consistent product adoption
  • Publish a weekly product scorecard to keep stakeholders aligned
  • Use feedback to run A/B tests, ship quick wins, and drive continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have

  • Based in Jakarta and field-ready.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS, ERP, or workflow-heavy platforms
  • A self-starter with strong product instincts, systems thinking, and user empathy
  • Deep ownership mindset. You are here to build for outcomes, not just manage.
  • Comfortable with autonomy, ambiguity, and rapid iterations. You don’t wait for permission
  • Proven ability to spot edge cases, break flows, and ship resilient UX
  • Strong understanding of WhatsApp-based user workflows and informal user behavior in field ops
  • Experience in writing clear PRDs, mapping user flows, and defining personas
  • Excellent collaboration across tech, design, and business
  • Hands-on with modern AI tools like ChatGPT, v0.dev, and prompt-driven documentation and prototyping

Nice-To-Have

  • Experience with construction, real estate, or field service tools
  • Familiarity with tools like PostHog, Mixpanel, n8n, Botpress
  • Background in scaling MVPs into stable 1.0+ products

What You’ll Get

  • Monthly Compensation: IDR 10M–15M/month (negotiable, based on experience & remuneration arrangement)
  • Equity (ESOP): 1%–3% ownership with standard 4-year vesting (1-year cliff)
