Product Engineer (Pump)

Job Responsibilities:

• Study and transfer new products/parts to production lines from the design stage.
• Improve the productivity, value analysis (VA), and quality of new products.
• Source new components or raw materials for R&D purposes and support the purchasing team.
• Issue TRF to commence testing of molds, if required.
• Provide production technical support for product assembly, quality issues, and production testing.
• Create SOPs for production, product assembly, and testing.
• Study existing products in production to improve process capability using DFM.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Create or amend Bill of Materials (BOM) due to product variants.
• Participate in external certifications and audits, such as NSF and TUV.
• Execute new product introduction, including pre-production, process execution, product specification, quality control, process development, and determining jig/fixtures/tooling requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of Research & Development methodologies and plastic injection processes.
• Strong team player capable of working with minimal supervision.
• 4-5 years of project handling experience; experience in the pump industry is an advantage.
• Skills: AutoCAD, Pro-E/Creo, MS Office.
