Study and transfer new products/parts to production lines from the design stage.
Improve the productivity, value analysis (VA), and quality of new products.
Source new components or raw materials for R&D purposes and support the purchasing team.
Issue TRF to commence testing of molds, if required.
Provide production technical support for product assembly, quality issues, and production testing.
Create SOPs for production, product assembly, and testing.
Study existing products in production to improve process capability using DFM.
Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and propose corrective and preventive actions.
Create or amend Bill of Materials (BOM) due to product variants.
Participate in external certifications and audits, such as NSF and TUV.
Execute new product introduction, including pre-production, process execution, product specification, quality control, process development, and determining jig/fixtures/tooling requirements.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
In-depth knowledge of Research & Development methodologies and plastic injection processes.
Strong team player capable of working with minimal supervision.
4-5 years of project handling experience; experience in the pump industry is an advantage.
