Perform analysis on market/industry trends for new product development and enhancement.
Collect, compile, and compare competitors’ information, including features, performance, energy consumption, accreditation obtained, and pricing. Meet with the development team to discuss product ideas.
Monitor and ensure on-time launching of new products. Collaborate with various departments for new product trial runs.
Develop design ideas based on customer interests, budgets, and market research to formulate sales and marketing strategies aligning with company objectives.
Work with R&D and customers to gather data for various accreditation and certifications.
Lead and oversee the development team and processes to ensure timely product launches. Conduct product training for distributors, dealers, and consultants.
Provide timely and accurate product news via the business portal, including new products and changes.
Ensure effective communication with other departments (Production, Regional Sales, Material Control, R&D) for on-time product launches.
Distribute product news through Rapid News, ensuring all relevant parties are well-informed.
Ensure all launched products have sufficient information and supporting tools, and conduct necessary training for in-house staff and customers to equip them with essential knowledge.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 or second class upper.
Good project management skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly self-motivated, solution-oriented, outgoing, and proactive personality.
Basic knowledge of air conditioning is an added advantage.
