PRODUCT ENGINEER

About the role

As a PRODUCT ENGINEER at PT Hoco Asia Industry, you will play a key role in the development and improvement of the company's mechanical products. In this full-time position based in Cengkareng Jakarta, you will utilise your engineering expertise to design, test and optimise innovative solutions that drive the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

1. Design and develop new mechanical products to meet customer requirements
2. Analyse product performance data and identify areas for improvement
3. Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure products meet safety and reliability standards
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement design changes
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to identify opportunities for product innovation
6. Document design specifications, test results and other critical information
7. Provide technical support and guidance to production and sales teams

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in product design, development or testing
3. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science and manufacturing processes
4. Proficiency in CAD software and product lifecycle management tools
5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
7. Strong communication and presentation skills
