Job summary

PT Guntner Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to coordinate technical product changes across sites in East Java. You will manage task packages, prepare work descriptions, and contribute to concepts and production solutions with a focus on risk assessment and process optimization.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a mechanical engineering background, and fluent English. Willingness to work in Wonokoyo, Beji, Pasuruan, East Java is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in machinery directives, project management, sheet metal design and risk assessments.
• Practical experience in technical change management or project management is an advantage.
• Excellent spoken and written English; strong communication, analytical and strategic thinking.
• Willing to work in Wonokoyo, Beji, Pasuruan, East Java.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical product change requests across Güntner, including multi-site interfaces.
• Independently execute task packages with department managers.
• Prepare work package descriptions for changes.
• Contribute engineering expertise to technical concepts and production solutions.
• Assess opportunities, risks and potential impacts of changes.
• Monitor and report progress of product changes.
• Continuously optimize change processes and related software tools.

Job description

Main Task:

• Coordination of technical product change requests within the Güntner organization, including multi-site interface management in alignment with global coordinators
• Independent execution of task packages in close collaboration with department managers
• Preparation of work package descriptions
• Contribution of engineering expertise to technical concepts and production solutions
• Assessment of opportunities, risks, and potential impacts
• Monitoring and reporting on the progress of product changes
• Continuous optimization of change processes and related software tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in an engineering background (mechanical engineering / plant engineering/ refrigeration engineering) or alternatively a mechanical engineering technician with a passion for project management.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in the field of machinery directives, project management, (sheet metal) design and risk assessments.
• Practical professional experience in technical change management or project management is an advantage.
• A very good command of spoken and written English
• Strong communication skills, analytical, and strategic thinking.
• Willing to work in Wonokoyo, Beji, Pasuruan, East Java.
