On behalf of our client, a well-known Mining Company in Indonesia that is looking to hire an Procurement Supervisor position with details below

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, and oversee day-to-day procurement operations.
  • Responsible for production output, product quality, and on time delivery / shipping.
  • Responsible for procurement output, supplier quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Implement strategies aligned with procurement objectives and provide clear direction and focus.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with suppliers and oversee supplier management processes.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field.
  • Adequate communication ability in English or Mandarin both spoken and written.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Procurement Division, preferably related to the aluminum ingot manufacturing field such as in industry Smelter or Extrusion is a must.
  • Proven knowledge of procurement management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and supplier management).
  • Familiarity with industry-standard materials such as chips, dross, UBC, plates, etc
  • Be knowledgeable of procurement processes, supplier quality, cost management, inventory control, and contract management.
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
  • Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
