Job description

What you’ll be doing day to day:
  1. Working with the Procurement Manager to manage low value and low complex procurement projects: conducting market research on procurement categories, gathering and analyzing internal spend and supplier performance data, agreeing appropriate procurement strategies including negotiation strategies e.g. face to face / e-Auctions, drafting and/or quality assuring tendering documentation, launching and managing procurements via the e-Sourcing tool, agreeing evaluation approach and educating stakeholders on evaluation methodology
  2. Engage and work with multiple stakeholders in Indonesia to ascertain business needs and identifying risks and issues
  3. Contract award including managing the DocuSign process and storing contracts on our Contract Database
  4. Supporting the Procurement Manager deliver medium to high value and complex procurements. Lead in procurement and contract negotiations
  5. Working on contract management approaches for projects and assess supplier performance commercially
  6. Developing category plans and identifying risks, issues and opportunities to generate improvements in the business operations
  7. Supporting the completion of Non-Trade Procurement reporting including: keeping project plans, contract databases and saving trackers up to date and saving approvals, supplier spend control
  8. Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory and security requirements e.g. Cyber Security. Ensure integrity and ethics are sustained throughout the procurement process
We want you to be a person who:
  1. Has 1 to 3 years procurement with good communication skills both spoken & written in Bahasa & English and Technical engineering experience
  2. Experienced of working in a procurement team and also able to follow end to end procurement process and work independently. Experience of working in a retail and multi-market preferred
  3. Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills. Pro-active, self-motivated, well-organized, efficient and ability to work under pressure
  4. Be a good problem solver
  5. Achievement and goal oriented with good organization skills, ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
  6. Strong computer literacy skills with excellent Ms. Office skills
  7. CIPS membership – student and/or membership will be an advantage
