About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join PT East West Seed Indonesia, a leading provider of high-quality seeds and agricultural solutions. The role is based in Purwakarta, West Java, and involves ensuring the smooth procurement of materials, goods, and services for the company's operations.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, including conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and reliability.
2. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure optimal value.
3. Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Coordinate the acquisition of fixed assets such as office buildings, IT equipment, farm facilities, plant machinery, office furniture, and other capital goods.
5. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, budgets, and legal requirements.
6. Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and supplier performance.
7. Support audits related to procurement and asset management.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
9. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing and construction sectors.
• Proficiency in English.
• Driving license (SIM A) is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems such as D365 or SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, supply chain management, and negotiation practices.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications of raw materials or components.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to build and maintain good vendor relationships.
• Willing to work in Purwakarta.
