Procurement & Purchasing Officer

About the role

PT Avip Interiors is seeking a dedicated Procurement & Purchasing Officer to join our team in West Jakarta, Jakarta. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and purchasing processes to support the company's manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms for raw materials, components, and other goods required for project interiors.
2. Placing and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
3. Managing inventory levels and identifying opportunities to optimise stock holdings.
4. Analysing procurement data and providing recommendations to improve efficiency and cost savings.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop procurement strategies.
6. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory management.

What we're looking for

1. Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, majoring in civil Engineering is preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the manufacturing or interior design industry.
3. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
4. Proficient in data analysis and the use of procurement software and systems.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
6. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
7. Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws governing procurement practices.
8. Able to join immediately.
