Procurement Project & Planning Specialist

About the role

Procurement Project & Planning Specialist responsible to helping implement strategic plans to carry out and develop project activities, manage, and ensure plans are fulfilled as planned, seek, and provide ideas and solutions that strengthen quality, service, and effectiveness of the project.

What you'll be doing

Responsible for keeping projects on schedule and on budget by understanding, analyze and calculate project risk and coordinate with related parties to solve and minimize the impact.

Work with Business Team & project initiation/tender process to ensure scope, timeline, and project budget

Able to provide solutions and ideas for any problems that arise during the project

Initiate and transfer ideas to research and development and eventually to workable projects

Establish strong business partner relationships to ensure the procurement projects implemented meet business requirements and they deliver intended value to stakeholders

Perform other tasks assigned by management related to project

Conduct field survey to ensure the needs and do vendor survey in all areas to ensure that they are compatible and suitable

Monitor every detail of the constructions, goods, & services delivery and ensure that everything is on the right track and right timeline

Fulfill project good and service request through following activities: -Receive, review, and clarify all project request budget and specification, - Communicate & clarification request with user and vendor (as well as build good relationships), - Request for Quotation, negotiating (price, payment term and other terms), produce PO and deliver to vendors, - Monitoring and ensuring all order (from the beginning of PO opening to delivery) are match in term of good and service and timely delivered

Ensure all payment documents are completed and coordinate with procurement unit support staff/ finance directorate

What we're looking for

3+ years' experience in a similar procurement or project planning role, ideally within the construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor (QS).

Strong working knowledge of construction techniques and building materials, construction industry standards and regulations, cost measurement and estimation system

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement creative solutions

High ability to analyze technical and financial data

Accuracy in calculating material quantities, labor costs, and overall project costs

Have good communication skills, analytical abilities and good logical thinking

Have certification in the field of Quantity Surveyor (CQS, IQSI, RICS, etc.)
