Job description

Identify, evaluate, and build long-term partnerships with reliable local suppliers for key raw materials (e.g., sponge, resin cotton, doll cotton, cartons).

Conduct supplier audits to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Lead sourcing and development for new parts, materials, vendors, and finished goods to ensure material availability.

Procurement Operations & Cost Control

Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQs, order placement, and fulfillment tracking.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to optimize cost efficiency.

Align procurement schedules with inventory and production planning to prevent material shortages or overstocking.

Conduct market and material analysis to support cost control initiatives.

International Trade & Logistics

Prepare and handle all required import/export documentation in compliance with Indonesian and Chinese trade regulations.

Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize shipping methods, reduce lead times, and minimize freight expenses.

Stay informed on global supply chain trends to anticipate potential disruptions and develop contingency plans.

ERP & Data Management

Maintain accurate procurement data using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, .

Utilize Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for reporting and procurement analysis.

Generate regular cost analysis and procurement performance reports to support strategic decision-making.

Coordinate closely with production, inventory, and finance departments to ensure seamless material flow and timely issue resolution.

Address and resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality deviations, and material shortages.

Lead or participate in cross-functional and cross-cultural meetings for process alignment and supplier coordination.

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or any related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing, furniture, or raw materials industries.

Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Familiar with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, , or equivalent).

Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) — mandatory.

Basic English proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and listening.

Solid grasp of numerical concepts and applied mathematics, including pattern recognition, estimations, and mental calculations.

Excellent time management, attention to detail, and sense of confidentiality.

Willingness to travel frequently to supplier or factory sites across Indonesia.

Possessing a valid driving license is considered a plus.
