A leading company in chemicals and plastics manufacturing seeks a Procurement Specialist to enhance procurement methodologies and manage vendor relationships. The role is critical to achieving cost savings and ensuring legal compliance while negotiating contracts and evaluating suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, be proficient in English, and possess at least 2 years of procurement experience.
Receiving and processing requests for equipment, parts, and services related to MRO, primarily for the DOWNSTREAM Plant.
Understanding business requirements and demand patterns, and aligning procurement strategies to achieve cost savings, including conducting cost analysis.
Identifying and developing improved procurement methodologies, processes, policies, and procedures.
Negotiating and managing contracts and NDAs, including developing and implementing KPIs that deliver value and promote continuous improvement.
Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, engaging plant stakeholders and suppliers to monitor and resolve issues at the plant level.
Conducting supplier evaluations and maintaining evaluation data.
Ensuring legal compliance.
Maintaining data related to project progress and cost savings achievements.
