Job summary

Diversey, a global leader in cleaning, hygiene and infection prevention solutions, is seeking a Procurement & Sourcing Manager in Jakarta to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier management, and cost optimization across the business.

The role partners with regional procurement teams and contract manufacturers to deliver cost savings, improve COGS targets, and enhance working capital while ensuring supply continuity and inventory optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing.
• Experience in chemical, specialty chemicals, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
• Experience in contract manufacturing management is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, Power BI, SAC, SFDC, and Coupa E-Sourcing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing projects to achieve cost savings, COGS, working capital, OTIF, lead-time, and inventory targets.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new potential suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
• Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and key suppliers to meet commercial, operational, and data requirements.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with SOX, policies, and guidelines.
• Maintain procurement data across SAP, Coupa, SAC, and other systems.
• Prepare regular updates and insights for Regional/APAC leadership and country leaders.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement & Sourcing Manager to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier management, and cost optimization across the business.

This role will play a key part in delivering cost savings, COGS targets, working capital improvements, supply continuity, and inventory optimization, while partnering closely with regional procurement teams, business leaders, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage sourcing projects to achieve cost savings, COGS, working capital, OTIF, supply lead-time, and raw material inventory targets.

Identify, evaluate, and develop new potential suppliers and sourcing opportunities.

Manage relationships with contract manufacturers and key suppliers, ensuring commercial, operational, and data requirements are consistently met.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with SOX requirements, company policies, and procurement guidelines.

Maintain accurate and timely procurement data across SAP, Coupa, SAC, and other relevant systems.

Prepare regular project updates, reports, and insights for the Regional/APAC Procurement leadership team and country business leaders.

Monitor supplier and market intelligence to ensure business and procurement decisions are based on accurate and reliable information.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives and continuously improve procurement processes.

Support change management initiatives and drive continuous improvement across sourcing and procurement activities.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Experience in the chemical, specialty chemicals, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.

Experience in contract manufacturing management is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of SAP, Power BI, SAC, SFDC, and Coupa E-Sourcing or similar procurement systems.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and at different levels of the organization.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Willingness and ability to travel within the country as required; a valid driving licence is preferred/required.
