Responsibilities

Procurement Manager in DVL is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring cost optimization, and building strong relationships with suppliers. They develop and implement procurement strategies, negotiate spot buys, maintain quality documents and manage inventory to support business operations.

Key Roles And Responsibilities Are

• Lead end to end procurement operations for all direct materials, in all manufacturing sites of DVL and MLI. Responsible for 1000 materials and more than 500 suppliers.
• Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and standardization.
• Negotiate spot buys with suppliers, securing advantageous terms, competitive pricing, and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, proactively managing their performance and addressing any issues. Conducts periodic business reviews with suppliers.
• Monitor and control procurement expenses, driving cost savings and ensuring value for money.
• Ensuring the efficient flow of materials from suppliers to production, Collaborating with internal teams to optimize the supply chain, Managing disruptions and ensuring supply continuity.
• Preparing reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and key metrics. Analyzing procurement data to identify trends and opportunities.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Apothecary, (preferred), Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in vendor management and contract negotiation
• Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis and reporting
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software (SAP) and MS Office suite
• Experience in developing and implementing procurement policies
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
