A leading company in Jakarta seeks a Procurement Generalist responsible for optimizing procurement costs and maintaining operational expenditure. The role involves supplier selection and contract negotiation to enhance efficiency. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of procurement experience, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Identify company needs for specific goods and services based on requests from various departments.
Optimize procurement costs to maintain the company's Operational Expenditure (OPEX) as well as Maintenance, IT, General Affairs, Marketing, etc.
Sourcing, assess, and select suppliers according to company criteria, including reliability, product or service quality, and competitive pricing.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure that terms of pricing, delivery schedules, payment conditions, and other clauses reflect the company's needs and minimize risks.
Prepare reports related to procurement activities, including expenditures, efficiency, and supplier performance, while maintaining accurate documentation for each transaction.
Communicate with internal departments such as finance, marketing, general affairs, operations, and logistics to analyze needs and ensure good coordination in the procurement process.
Develop and implement long-term procurement strategies that support company goals, including efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
