Procurement Executive for Fish Product - Food Retail / Restaurant

The working venue is in Central Jakarta.

Our client is a Japanese Food Retail / Restaurant company. Currently, they are looking for Procurement Executive for Fish products.

Job Responsibilities:

Participation in Wholesale Market Auctions: Evaluate catch volume, freshness, and quality of seafood at the market to bid and purchase products at appropriate prices.

Procurement from Production Areas and Suppliers: Source products from a variety of suppliers, including fishing ports, fishery cooperatives, seafood companies, and import trading firms.

Quality Assessment: Carefully inspect the fish’s color, gloss, aroma, and firmness to select only high-quality seafood using expert judgment and product knowledge.

Understanding Market Trends: Based on requests from the product planning department, determine appropriate quantities and timing for procurement while responding flexibly to market conditions.

Logistics and Delivery Coordination: Coordinate and arrange shipments of purchased seafood to various branch locations across Southeast Asia.

Other related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

Have working experience as procurement of fish more than 5 years.

Have enough connection with supplier.

Understanding and knowledge of Japanese culture and cuisine.

Have high-conversational English skill.

Willing to do business trip in domestic and Asia.
