Job description

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical procurement, preferably within the pulp & paper or process manufacturing industry.

Proven track record in managing suppliers, contracts, and cost optimization strategies related to industrial/process chemicals.

Strong understanding of chemical categories used in pulp processing (e.g., caustic soda, bleaching agents, sizing/starch chemicals, etc.).

Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement modules.

Ability to conduct market analysis, cost benchmarking, and identify sourcing opportunities.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Willing to be placed in Tarakan, North Kalimantan (no roster system).
