A leading coatings company located in Jakarta Timur is seeking a Process Specialist to enhance manufacturing processes and productivity. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with Lean Six Sigma experience and at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in English are essential. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.
As a Process Specialist you will conduct research and find insight from data to provide suggestions for process improvement and help Site Operation to reach its goals. You will report to Quality Manager and based onsite at Jakarta Plant
Main Responsibilities
Work towards Yield and Productivity improvements using statistical tools, also for AMU losses and SSPL reduction.
Troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes. Work with Production, Maintenance and Technical Department to improve product quality.
Analyze process system through data and risk assessment to implement changes to boost production and eliminate nonvalue added activities.
Create process mapping, value stream mapping, identifying inefficiencies in productivity with a particular focus on layouts and sequencing. Collect important data and convert them to make improvements.
Create and implement D/PFMEA for manufacturing process.
Maintain good performance of manufacturing site-based on PPG OPEX requirements and Lean Six Sigma implementation.
Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards in the respective work in charge.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred), or Chemist.
Proven work experience in Manufacturing process and Lean Six Sigma implementation.
Preferably with min 3 years working experience.
Having experience in paint and coating with knowledgeable in QC and Technical are point plus.
Analytical, organized and able to work under pressure.
Good work planning, commits to deadlines and attention towards details.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proficiency in verbal & written English
