What You Will Do

The Process Science Manager, Technical Operations will lead activities related to technical manufacturing plant support, studies on technical/technology transfer projects, process improvement, productivity initiatives, material and process troubleshooting studies. The role will also ensure all supporting projects are defined, planned, documented, and executed in compliance with Kenvue procedures, regulatory requirements, GMP, EHS&S, and corporate quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technology Transfer (TT) or Site Transfer project: Represent the Country TECH OPS Technical & Process Lead in transferring products between manufacturing sites within the global network. Lead the TECH OPS team and ensure related tasks are executed properly.
  2. Validation: Provide technical and validation support to manufacturing operations, including validation execution (Mixing, Filling, Cleaning).
  3. Cost Improvement Projects (CIP): Support local CIP initiatives for productivity and cost improvements, identifying opportunities, planning, documenting, and ensuring GMP and safety compliance.
  4. Plant Support (IM & EM): Support internal and external manufacturing plants, leading technical support activities.
  5. Investigations and CAPA support: Lead troubleshooting, non-conformance investigations, and root cause analysis related to product formulas, raw materials, and processes.
  6. Collaborate with Global Technical Leaders for product lifecycle and knowledge management.
  7. Work with R&D to develop and maintain processes for new product development and commercialization.
  8. Coordinate with internal and external partners to execute project plans and provide technical expertise.
  9. Promote innovation for new products and ideas.
Documentation Control
  • Ensure proper documentation of technical studies and validation activities.
  • Maintain technical specifications and change controls.
  • Create and maintain BOMs and formulation data in SAP.
Development
  • Identify and seize learning opportunities, contribute to team and organizational development, and support individual career planning and training.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a healthcare manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of product characteristics, performance requirements, and formulation development.
  • Understanding of process equipment, in-process controls, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with lean tools, statistical methods, and risk management tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, MHRA, etc.).
  • Excellent technical writing, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project.
