You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and optimizing various production processes to meet quality standards, cost objectives, and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation from new project setup to internal project transfer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and systems to optimize production efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure product quality.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for process improvements and new initiatives.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to translate conceptual designs into practical production processes.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and control plans for manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, cycle time, throughput, and resource utilization to identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to ensure continuous operation and compliance with quality standards.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive process optimization projects, including technology transfer, scale-up, and process validation.
- Implement and maintain process monitoring and control systems, including statistical process control (SPC) and advanced process control (APC) tools.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate new equipment, materials, and technologies for process enhancement and cost reduction.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by your direct supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical & Electronic, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- At least 3 years of working experience in relevant industrial and engineering manufacturing. Prior track record and experience in success in optimizing production processes and project transfer will be preferred.
- Able to communicate English in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in basic operation and drawing capabilities of CAD/Pro E software (3D).
- RoHS/restricted substance control knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
