Job summary

UL Solutions seeks a Process Improvement lead to drive operational excellence across our knowledge organization. The role focuses on leading projects that establish or improve processes and metrics to consistently meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, 6+ years in process optimization, and preferred Lean Sigma Yellow Belt/Green Belt training. You will enable defined processes, train teams, and collaborate across functions to sustain improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years leading process improvement projects; 6+ years in process optimization.
• Preferred Lean Sigma Yellow Belt Certification and Green Belt Training.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Enable UL Solutions knowledge activities with defined processes, policies, and procedures.
• Develop, optimize and improve processes to enhance productivity and drive efficiencies and consistency.
• Develop/improve metrics, monitor and analyze data to ensure sustained and continuous process improvement.
• Perform process capability studies, statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making to achieve operational excellence and meet efficiency targets.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
• Performs other duties as directed.
