Process Engineer – Water and Waste Water Treatment

We have experience in handling the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and operation of new Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), including expertise in large-scale industrial Build-Own-Operate/Build-Own-Transfer Central Effluent Treatment Plant projects. We also retrofit existing ETPs to increase flow rate and treatment capability without any major infrastructure increase.

Job Summary

The Water Treatment Design / Process Engineer works in synergy with other engineers, technical specialists, CAD technicians, and clients to successfully deliver innovative municipal water and industrial wastewater infrastructure projects. The role requires skills and knowledge to design, operate, and manage treatment plants to meet more stringent water quality standards.

The engineer should be proficient in:

1. Fundamental skills and knowledge.
2. Group design projects for applications of unit operations in flow sheets.
3. Practical projects for application of novel unit operations.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science / Chemical Engineering / Chemistry.
• Relevant experience in Water and Waste Water Treatment Technology.
• Working experience in Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants, preferably in Industrial or Textile Manufacturing.
• Knowledge in maintaining water parameter requirements and Government Regulations.
• Able to develop system design including P&ID, general layout, etc. for Water Treatment Plant (WTP) / Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
• Familiar with Biological and Chemical systems, Design, Calculation for WTP and WWTP.
• Able to perform RO and AOP calculations will be advantageous.
• Familiar with equipment selection for WTP and WWTP.
• Able to create technical documents such as technical specifications, BoQ, test and commissioning procedures, etc.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Design and create specifications and construction drawings for water and wastewater facility upgrades, booster stations, pipelines, and other civil projects.
• Conduct planning studies, modeling, and hydraulic/treatment calculations.
• Prepare Preliminary Engineering Reports.
• Provide support for project bidding, construction, and construction observation/survey.
• Support the contract execution process as needed.
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other marketing/business development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
