Job description

PROCESS ENGINEER (RECIPROCATING BACKGROUND)

Engineering capability in Oil and Gas equipment, Standardization, and Regulations.

Review vendor and client documents, data, and drawings for reciprocating compressors and engines.

Attend pre-bid meetings, prepare technical bid documents and reports.

Liaise with external partners.

Assist the project team during planning and execution phases.

Provide technical support during sales negotiations, bidding, and after-market services.

Assist in technical sizing and design of gas compressors and engines.

Conduct product knowledge transfer and training for company and customer personnel.

Assist in troubleshooting during project phases.

Travel for site visits, bid openings, client meetings, and provide troubleshooting advice as needed.

Reporting responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably in Gas Compression.
• Knowledge or experience in natural gas compression.
• Maximum age of 45 years.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with Ariel Compressor and Waukesha Engine sizing tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of process design, interpreting P&ID, mechanical, and electrical drawings related to gas compressor projects.
• Excellent communication skills, high initiative, disciplined, organized, and a team player.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and cloud data sharing (OneDrive).
• Preferred domicile: JABODETABEK; willing to travel for work.
