Job summary

SMOORE Indonesia seeks a dedicated Process Engineer to optimize production for next-generation tobacco devices (HNB, E-vapor). You will drive Lean Six Sigma projects to improve stability, quality, and efficiency across manufacturing lines.

Collaborate with R&D and Quality to support new product introductions and process validation, and develop SOPs/documents in English and Chinese. Strong problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Tobacco Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of process engineering experience in tobacco, pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily maintenance and optimization of production processes for next-generation tobacco products (e.g., HNB, E-vapor).
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance process stability, product quality, and production efficiency using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Analyze and troubleshoot process abnormalities, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams to support new product introduction and process validation activities.
• Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), control plans, and technical documentation in English and Chinese.
• Monitor key process parameters (KPP) and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
