Job Description

Your Role: Monitor and optimize the company's operational processes and systems. This includes analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
  1. Support day-to-day operations in the production environment and collaborate with staff to identify, prioritize, and execute process improvement projects.
  2. Provide troubleshooting, engineering, maintenance, equipment, and daily process assistance to the manufacturing line.
  3. Continuously improve and optimize current products through variation reduction.
  4. Investigate manufacturing problems, consult with production teams, analyze supporting data, recommend corrective actions, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  5. Use Lean Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste, improve material flow, and streamline processes.
  6. Support improvements in controls, equipment, and maintenance practices used in operations.
  7. Lead capital projects related to equipment installations, modifications, or upgrades.
  8. Assist and support new product development and design with technical teams.
Qualifications

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in operations engineering or a similar role.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Experience in related industries (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, software).
  5. Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
  6. Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methods.
  7. Experience with automation technologies.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, decision-making, and situational assessment skills.
  10. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect and influence at all levels of the organization.
  11. Mechanical competency with controls, instrumentation, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) knowledge.
