Avery Dennison RBIS Indonesia has business engagement with customers who are exporters of Apparel, Footwear, Home Textiles and Sports goods. The Indonesia manufacturing site of ADID is in BIIE Lippo CIkarang West Java & Candi Industrial Estate Semarang, Central Java, but customer spread is in other parts of the country as well.

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

1. Support day to day operations in the production environment and work with other staff to identify, select, prioritize and execute process improvement projects.
2. Provide general troubleshooting, engineering, maintenance, equipment and daily process assistance to our manufacturing line.
3. Continually improve & optimize current products through variation reduction.
4. Investigating manufacturing problems and consulting with production teams, analyzing the supporting data, recommending corrective actions, and following through on recommendations to evaluate their effectiveness.
5. Creating, refining, educating and implementing standard work.
6. Use lean six sigma to eliminate waste, improve material flow, and streamline processes.
7. Assisting and improving the controls, equipment, and maintenance practices used to run the operations.
8. Lead capital projects related to equipment installations, modifications, or upgrades.
9. Support new product development and product design within technical teams.
10. Conduct regular systems audits and generate reports.

Qualifications

Requirement

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in operations engineering or a similar role.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Experience in a related industry (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, software).
6. Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
7. Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methods.
8. Experience with automation technologies.
9. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of systems engineering.
10. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
11. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards.
14. Strong multi-tasking, problem solving, decision analysis, situation appraisal skills.
15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to connect and influence at all levels of the plant.
16. Six Sigma exposure/experience. Green Belt / Black Belt certification is a plus.
17. Mechanical competency with controls, instrumentation, PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) knowledge.
