The role aims to identify opportunities for business growth by establishing and managing channel and commercial partnerships. The focus is on building a sustainable channel strategy and distributor network to support geographical expansion in Indonesia and future regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Partner/Distributor Identification and Onboarding
- Identify and onboard channel partners (distributors, dealers, agents) in Indonesia, developing comprehensive training and onboarding processes.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and performance targets with partners, ensuring compliance with SOPs and maintaining accurate database records.
- Define and implement channel strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Explore and evaluate new distribution channels.
- Collaborate with partners and regional teams to develop market growth strategies in Indonesia.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, ensuring loyalty and maximizing sales through ongoing support and prompt issue resolution.
- Facilitate communication and negotiations, including conflict resolution.
- Coordinate with internal teams across functions like sales, marketing, finance, compliance, and supply chain to align country strategies.
Compliance, Training, and Development
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies through monitoring, audits, and guidance.
- Provide training to partners on policies and operational processes via workshops, seminars, or virtual sessions.
- Enhance the sales force effectiveness of channel partners in collaboration with Learning & Development managers.
Reporting, Analytics & System Management
- Manage DMS to gather analytics and optimize business opportunities.
- Conduct audits and monitor data accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze business data, including sales and inventory metrics.
- Assist partners with forecasting to reduce back-orders and improve service levels.
- Develop and maintain partner scorecards and performance rankings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and best practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 years in Medical Devices or Healthcare/FMCG industries.
- Postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent), preferably in business, marketing, or related fields.
- Experience managing channel partners and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Results-driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Self-motivated with leadership qualities.
- Flexible, adaptable, persistent, and willing to travel.
