Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to define project timelines, milestones, and completion dates.
- Monitor project execution against the approved schedule, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Conduct regular schedule review meetings and provide updates on progress, delays, and recovery plans.
- Coordinate inspection and handover activities for civil works performed by external contractors, utilizing relevant checklists.
- Work closely with civil engineers, site managers, and contractors to ensure civil works are executed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety standards.
- Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timeline integrity.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Prepare detailed progress reports reflecting current project status, deviations, and milestones.
- Maintain accurate documentation of schedule changes, inspection outcomes, and project milestones for transparency and traceability.
- Act as the primary point of contact for schedule-related communications within the project team.
- Ensure alignment and coordination of project timelines across all departments and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project scheduling and engineering within civil construction projects; experience with water plant projects is a plus.
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6, including critical path analysis, resource leveling, and progress tracking.
- Familiarity with civil inspection procedures, construction methodologies, and infrastructure development standards related to hydraulic structures.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage site activities within scheduled timelines and budgets.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI or PMP.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce clear and structured reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of AutoCAD and design tools is advantageous.
- Certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or Lean Construction principles are a plus.
