Job summary

Jemma Education is seeking passionate English-speaking teachers to join our on-site teaching team in Jakarta. You will teach English, Mathematics and Science at Primary level and may cover two Secondary subjects, with training provided.

You will plan lessons, deliver engaging activities for preschool to primary students, monitor progress and provide feedback to parents. Training and 13th month bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree.
• Must speak and write English fluently.
• On-site work six days a week (Mon-Sat) at one centre.
• Experience in schools or enrichment centres preferred.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach English, Mathematics and Science to Primary students.
• Teach at least two Secondary subjects as needed.
• Develop new curricula for English/Math/Science.
• Plan, review and evaluate lessons.
• Deliver engaging lessons with activities, drama, and games.
• Monitor student progress and provide parental feedback.

Jemma Education is looking for passionate and dedicated English-speaking teachers to join our teaching team. We are especially looking for teachers who possess a fun and bubbly disposition and want to teach in a fun and engaging way!

Job Responsibilities

• Willing to receive training to be able to teach English, Mathematics and Science at the Primary level
• Willing to receive training to be able to teach at least 2 subjects at the Secondary level (choosing from: English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry)
• Assist in developing new course curricula in English, Mathematics and/or Science for Primary and Secondary
• Plan, review and evaluate lessons
• Conduct English, Mathematics and/or Science lessons according to the teaching plan provided with enthusiasm
• Teach using fun-filled interactive activities, drama, and games to students from preschool and primary school
• Monitor and track progress of students
• Give regular feedback to parents on students’ learning progress
• Be sensitive, caring and attentive to students’ needs and well-being
• Provide clear and confident explanation of programmes and activities to prospective customers

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree
• Must be able to speak and write in English fluently
• Must be able to work on-site 6 days a week 8 hours a day (Monday to Saturday) at one of our centres
• Candidates with experience teaching in schools or enrichment centres are preferred.
• Must be passionate in learning and teaching
• Must love working with children.
• Must possess a fun-loving, energetic and bubbly disposition.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, eg. Word, PowerPoint. Outlook
• Entry level candidates from university but without teaching experience are welcome to apply too. Training will be provided.
