Position: Primary and Secondary (Middle School) Mathematics Tutor

What We’re Looking For:

1. Age: 20–30 years old
2. Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related field. Outstanding senior university students with proven math skills and tutoring experience will also be considered.
3. Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written)
4. Subject Knowledge: Confident in teaching Mathematics to students aged 6 through age 14 (middle school). Must have an A grade in Mathematics on academic transcripts. Familiarity with National, Cambridge, IGCSE, or IB curricula is highly preferred.
5. Tech Savvy: Owns a personal computer or laptop for online teaching. Experience using Zoom or Google Meet for virtual lessons.
6. Teaching Skills: Able to explain mathematical concepts clearly and engagingly in English. Comfortable adjusting materials based on student needs (e.g. test/exam preparation). Strong organizational and communication skills. Willing to collaborate and support fellow teachers.
7. Availability: Able to start immediately and commit to a full-time role.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and clear Math lessons outside of school hours to reinforce and expand student understanding.
2. Develop and adjust lesson materials aligned with what students are learning in school.
3. Assess each student’s level and adapt your teaching approach to meet their individual needs.
4. Take initiative to ensure online classes run smoothly and effectively.
5. Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding student progress and classroom needs.
6. Be flexible and proactive in supporting the success of all Math classes.
