Job Description

The Pricing Metasearch Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing pricing strategies for specific assigned metasearch platform and product across the markets. This role involves tracking competitive pricing trends, monitoring platform performance, and providing actionable insights to improve revenue, visibility, and competitiveness in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy Optimization: Analyze pricing data from metasearch engines and recommend adjustments to ensure the company’s products/services remain competitive.

Market Analysis: Monitor competitive pricing trends and shifts in the market, identifying opportunities to optimize pricing for improved visibility and booking conversion.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret pricing and performance data from metasearch engines, providing insights to internal teams. Prepare regular reports for management on pricing trends, competitor activities, and performance metrics.

Campaign Performance Tracking: Track and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing decisions in metasearch, ensuring they are aligned with business goals and driving ROI.

Pricing Adjustments: Implement pricing updates and adjustments across countries in metasearch platform, ensuring real-time optimization based on market fluctuations and competitor actions.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, revenue management, and product teams to align pricing strategies with broader business objectives and ensure a cohesive approach across markets

A/B Testing: Assist in the design and execution of A/B tests to evaluate the impact of different pricing strategies on customer behavior, bookings, and revenue.

Reporting & Insights: Provide regular performance reports and data insights to help optimize metasearch strategies. Suggest improvements based on analysis of historical data and emerging trends.

Competitive Intelligence: Regularly research competitor pricing and monitor industry trends to maintain competitive advantages and inform pricing decisions.

Platform Monitoring: Ensure that product listings, prices, and offers on metasearch platforms are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for visibility.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

3 years of experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, or digital marketing, ideally within the metasearch or travel industry.

Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics) to interpret large datasets and extract actionable insights.

Familiarity with metasearch platforms such as Google Hotel Ads, Kayak, Trivago, or similar.

Solid understanding of pricing strategies, market trends, and how to leverage them in digital marketing.

Ability to perform competitive analysis and make data-driven recommendations.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical teams.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
