Overview

Quest Software is looking for a seasoned Presales Solutions Consultant with a strong track record in supporting solutions for migration, security, and management of Microsoft technologies. This role will work closely with our sales team to drive direct and channel engagements across the Indonesian market.

Quest’s portfolio encompasses industry-leading solutions that simplify and secure the management of both on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, among others. Our solutions enable customers to reduce risk, streamline operations, and achieve successful business outcomes.

As a Presales Solutions Consultant, your deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem—particularly in areas such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint—will be key to articulating the value of Quest’s offerings to both technical and business audiences. You’ll partner with the sales team to deliver impactful presentations and live product demonstrations that clearly differentiate Quest from the competition. You will also lead the technical components of RFI/RFP responses, leveraging your domain expertise to align our solutions with customer needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate closely with direct and channel sales teams throughout the sales cycle to uncover customer technical requirements and align them with appropriate Quest solutions.
  2. Effectively communicate the business value and competitive advantages of Quest offerings about customer needs.
  3. Design and deliver customized demonstration environments—both remotely and on-site—to showcase Quest solutions as proof of concept, aligned to specific partner and customer objectives.
  4. Contribute to RFI/RFP responses by clearly articulating the technical capabilities and business value of Quest solutions.
  5. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for both new and existing customers and partners.
  6. Develop and maintain strong technical relationships to position yourself as a trusted advisor on Quest’s portfolio of solutions.
  7. Act as a customer advocate, serving as a liaison between clients and internal Quest teams to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  8. Provide ongoing feedback to Product Management regarding potential product enhancements based on field experience and customer input.

Qualifications

  1. Over 10 years of experience in a pre-sales technical role within the enterprise software industry.
  2. More than a decade of experience in consulting and project delivery focused on Microsoft technologies.
  3. Strong domain expertise in FSI, insurance, healthcare, or utilities, with a deep understanding of industry-specific business processes and common Microsoft platform challenges.
  4. Proven experience managing complex Active Directory and Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
  5. Hands-on expertise with Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint.
  6. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business stakeholders.
  7. A working knowledge of technical infrastructure, including application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories, is required.
