Presales Engineer

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in presales, solutions consulting, or a similar role in the networking industry.

Technical Knowledge:

1. Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
2. Experience with Cyber Security.
3. Experience with SD-WAN, M2M.
4. Experience with Monitoring Tools (APM, NPM, Logs).
5. Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Datadog, Dynatrace, Log Rhythm, Splunk.
6. Experience in designing network architectures and providing technical solutions.
7. Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
8. Experience in creating technical proposals, presentations, and proof-of-concepts (PoC).
9. Strong communication skills to deliver presentations and product demonstrations.
10. Knowledge of RFP/RFQ processes and the ability to develop competitive proposals.

Certifications (Preferred):

CCNP or equivalent (Network / Cyber Security).

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and customer-facing skills.
2. Ability to work independently and collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer teams.
3. Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Language: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable network solutions.
2. Conduct PoCs, product demonstrations, technical workshops.
3. Design network architectures and provide high-level & low-level designs (HLD & LLD).
4. Assist in tender submissions, preparing technical documentation, and responding to RFPs/RFQs.
5. Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and market trends.
6. Act as a technical advisor to customers, ensuring solutions align with their business needs.
