Job Title: Prepress Operator (Tobacco)

We are seeking a skilled Prepress Operator to join our team. The role involves creating print-ready files for gravure and flexo printing, ensuring quality and efficiency in the prepress process.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare existing artwork for printing, including trapping and proofing.
2. Check densities and scan barcodes.
3. Label and archive final files.
4. Maintain imagesetters and peripherals.
5. Perform overall cleanup of files and equipment.
6. Collaborate with graphic designers and marketing teams.
7. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years experience in Graphic Arts or Marketing, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Mac systems.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and 5S, Kaizen methodologies.
• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

• Occasional travel may be required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds and perform visual tasks.
