Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking a Dimension Control Tech to perform surveys and ensure dimensional accuracy across welding and structural work. The role involves using AutoCAD, maintaining calibration records, and generating reports in line with project specifications.

The candidate should have a high school diploma with 3–5 years in surveying, familiar with surveying instruments, and proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Senior high school graduate, preferred 2 years diploma in Technical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in surveying.
• Good knowledge of Surveying Instruments.
• Computer literate: AutoCAD and MS Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Perform surveys: post-weld and pre-weld as per dimension control plan and governing specifications.
• Survey miscellaneous assemblies as required.
• Track continuous level surveys during load out and weighting.
• Prepare dimensional control reports and Calibration Certificates.
• Generate OOT reports when non-conformance is found and resurvey after remedial action.
• Monitor calibration register and ensure latest drawings/equipment are used.
• Operate surveying measurement equipment and apply ITP, codes and specifications.
