Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end localization projects from India to Indonesia.
  • Coordinate with India team on BOM, formulation, packaging, and technical documents.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and production schedules.
  • Monitor material availability and coordinate with maklon on capacity and delivery.
  • Ensure materials are delivered per production schedule and track progress.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent delays.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Finance, and other teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Maintain accurate PPIC records and continuously seek improvements.

Job description

Job Purpose

The PPIC Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end localization project from India to Indonesia, ensuring the timely availability of materials, production readiness, and smooth execution of products manufactured through local third-party manufacturers (maklon). The role will act as the key coordinator between the India team, local suppliers, third-party manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful product localization and production in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end product localization project from India to Indonesia, ensuring all project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Coordinate closely with the India team to understand product specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), formulation, packaging requirements, technical documents, and other materials required for local production.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, production schedules, and material readiness trackers for all localization projects.
  • Follow up and monitor the availability of raw materials, packaging materials, components, and other production requirements to ensure readiness for local manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with local third-party manufacturers (maklon) regarding production planning, material requirements, production capacity, lead time, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure all materials are properly planned and delivered to the maklon according to the agreed production schedule.
  • Closely monitor the end-to-end supply chain process, from material sourcing and procurement through production and final delivery.
  • Identify potential supply, material, production, or timeline risks and proactively develop mitigation plans to avoid project delays.
  • Work closely with Procurement, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Finance, and other relevant functions to ensure smooth execution of localization projects.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve issues related to material availability, quality, lead time, production capacity, and delivery.
  • Monitor production progress and provide regular project status updates, timeline updates, and escalation reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of project timelines, material status, production plans, inventory, and other relevant PPIC data.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, material availability, production efficiency, cost, and lead time.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and agreed production specifications.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in PPIC, Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing, preferably within FMCG, pharmaceutical, personal care, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end production planning and material planning with third-party manufacturers.
  • Strong experience in project management, particularly in product localization, new product introduction (NPI), or manufacturing transfer projects.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with overseas stakeholders and local suppliers/manufacturers.
  • Strong understanding of MRP, BOM, material planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across India, Indonesia, suppliers, and third-party manufacturers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and preferably experienced with ERP/SAP or similar systems.
