Job description

As the PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) Manager at PT Sepatu Mas Idaman, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the company's manufacturing and logistics operations. This full-time position is based in Bogor, West Java, and is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and control of production activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement effective production planning strategies to meet inventory, customer service, on time delivery goals and sales forecast

Manage the inventory control system to optimize stock levels, minimize waste, and maintain optimal inventory levels

Coordinate with the procurement and production teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components, and also with accounting as agreed on periodic stock checks.

Analyses production data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and ensure smooth operations

Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the PPIC system

Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior management on production and inventory performance

Lead and coach subordinates to ensuring objectives and personal development plans are defined and agreed in line with the company performance management procedures.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in a PPIC or production planning role (Managerial Level), preferably in the Footwear industry

Experience of people management, ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization principles

Proficiency in using PPIC software and data analysis tools to support decision-making

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Must be able to build positive working relationships, contribute to team success, have a customer focus and with self-motivation
