Power Plant Engineer

Job Summary:

The Power Plant Engineer is tasked with ensuring and analyzing the operation of the power plant safely and efficiently in accordance with procedures. The Power Plant Engineer also ensures that every process runs smoothly in order to achieve quality, production & cost in accordance with predetermined targets.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Comply with and implement all safety regulations.
2. Conduct regular inspections of power plants to identify and address potential problems.
3. Periodically check the operational condition of the Boiler and Steam Turbine and provide feedback for improvement in case of deviations or nonconformities.
4. Create and review SOPs for operation at power plants.
5. Work together with the Maintenance Team to prepare minor and major overhaul plans.
6. Collect and compile a list of materials consumed during operation.
7. Control stock and manage the use of fuel, bed material, and spare parts to suit the yearly budget.

Job Success Requirements:

1. Experience in Power Plant operations.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Hardworking and able to work under pressure.
